About Selina
Selina Sosa is the Founder/President of Ethnic Perspective a non-profit Organization for young women. She was born and raised in Queens, NY, and is of Puerto Rican decent. She has been married for 21 years and has 3 sons. She has worked alongside her husband, Fernando, as youth directors for approximately 15 years.
Reaching diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, her passion is to develop more Latina role models that will help teach, grow, and make an impact in communities and all career fields.

About The Book
Our mission at Ethnic Perspective is to lead young Latina women into greatness by renewing their minds, empowering through mentorship, equipping with knowledge, and inspiring them to pave a new path for the next generation. Although the ministry was birthed based on a need within the Latin community we are committed to helping all women regardless of ethnicity and backgrounds.
For this reason, 11 fiery women and I have come together to create this book to share our stories and to show the importance of having faith in God while going through tests, trial, and triumphs. The goal is not only to encourage, uplift and inspire but to let the reader know that they are “Great” and must “Rise Up” to their rightful place and walk the path that God has set for them.
